ECC/Imerys Pensioners Holiday

IOW Tours were proud to have been chosen once again by the ECC/Imerys Pensioners Holiday Club Committee to assist in organising their annual holiday for the retired employees of the Clay Mining Industry in Cornwall.

Oh what fun was had by all!!!

The party were picked up locally, all around Cornwall, Devon and Dorset and transported to the Holiday Centre in Kewstoke, Weston Super Mare by our preferred Coach Operators, Smiths Coaches, Carmel Coaches and Crudge Coaches.

Harvest Festival kicked off the week with a joyous start. The Bugle Silver Band played, the Imerys Engineering Choir sang and the Pasty came from Cornwall!

Each day had a varied choice of day time on-site activities, Coach trips out and a shuttle bus into Weston. No excuse for being bored!

Wednesday night was Gala night with a special candle lit meal with balloons, streamers, dancing & cabaret.

A big thank you must go to all the Staff & Management at Sand Bay for helping us give 400 people a fun filled super holiday. No one could fault a thing!
