• spacerA reunion is unique to each Association.
  • There is no ‘set’ reunion.
  • An established Association will have a pattern for their reunion. IOW Tours Ltd can follow that pattern and take the hard work out of organising it.
  • A new Association might not have a picture of what they really want for a reunion. IOW Tours Ltd can draw on a wealth of experience of servicing the ex Armed Services with reunions and suggest various themes to the committee and then follow their instructions and requests to produce a very successful reunion.
  • A.G.M. We can organise a room for your AGM at the time you choose and seating for how many are likely to attend. Committee Table with Microphone if required.
  • Remembrance Service. Would you wish for a Remembrance Service ‘in house’ at the venue or visit a local Church? IOW Tours can arrange either. If you wish to have a Service in house, do you have your own Chaplain/Padre or would you wish IOW Tours Ltd to provide one? Collection. Would you like IOW Tours Ltd to provide the plates for collection? Local Standards to be paraded? Just tell IOW Tours Ltd
  • Gala Dinner. Top Table? Visiting dignitaries like The Mayor of the town where you are holding your reunion? Or the Chairman of the Council? Microphones for speeches? Table for prizes for an Association or Charity Fund Raising Prize Draw?
  • A special feature in a reunion, such as a Tot of Rum Issue for the Royal Navy Associations can be catered for in the setting up of a table and suitable glasses. Just tell us when and where and IOW Tours Ltd will see that it is there.
  • A table for the sale of Association memorabilia and/or crested clothing can be arranged, just when and where you want it.
  • An outing. Most Associations have a special day’s outing where coaches are laid on for a visit to a local suitable attraction. Portsmouth Historic Ships, Liverpool Maritime Museum as examples for the Royal Navy. York Air Museum or Cosford Cold War Museum for the RAF. For an outing of general interest, The Eden Camp in Yorkshire which depicts life at home during World War 11 complete with a prefab house, or Warwick Castle, Portmerion, Gaydon Historic Car Museum, the D-Day Tapestry. A 1940’s re-enactment at Severn Valley Railway. Just a few of the venues visited in the past.
  • The next move towards your successful reunion? Pick up the phone and call 01983 405116 and ask to talk to Shirley Winn Managing Director.
  • Isle of wight tours will never disclose your membership list or use it for any other purpose other than your reunion.
